CV3 for NES is already 8-bit...
If you search for CV3 remake, there's one by kasilbrazil03.  Are you that person?
'cuz the other stuff is my remake.

Why are so many torches misaligned and tiles non-existent?

The backgrounds are nicely done though. If you made them yourself, I'd love to have you work on my own game if I ever get to that point.

My guess is that there's a level editor being used to work on this hack and the candle placements are being difficult to work with.
Or it's just an alpha.

Yeah I know ReVamp has some issues with aligning enemies and torches. It doesn't let you make new ones, just lets you edit the old placements. That's what I figured, too.

hey guys thanks for your responces!

well whats happening is  i ha vent gotten around to setting the torches and all the tiles yet. but as of now I'm working on the levels and BG graphics. and yes i made them myself. thanks for considering me.

and yes CV3 is an 8 bit game. what i meant to say was I'm recreating the 8 bit classic and no way am i out to steal anyones credit. but about the misplaced candles and what not revamp is a fair programme when it comes to that. where i can not place an tour ch or candle i place else where making up for the lack there of. and please everyone rest assured this game will be done. that's a promise. please leave comments on youtube as well. thanks guys and thanks for your support. ill stay in touch.

Coming from a guy who hacked a 32 bit game for several years; forget a hack, and just program it from scratch in game maker. It will be much quicker, much easier, teach you more, and give you much more control.

But it's your decision. I honestly have no interest in 8 bit remakes anymore; with all the technology we have I see no point in it. I still wish you luck either way regardless. :)

Very impressive work here my friend!!! I will totally try it out, when it's done!!!

Shiny graphics might look nice, but as a retro gamer, i would like to say that still i prefer some games in 8bit/16bit than 3D. I'm looking at your work Esco, since you started it and i'n impressed how far you have gone!!! Anyway, i'm wishing best luck to both of you guys!!!  :)

Almost all of the graphic resources in this have been stolen from Optomon's and Thaddeus' to-be-released Simon's Quest revamp.

The background and main character sprites are nice!

What?! If you read his post on his youtube site he gave credit to Thaddeus.

I find the word stolen to be very powerful and untrue. The graphs represented in my game are all made from scratch, not stolen. If you put both videos side by side you ll see there not exact replicas. The re son for them looking similar is because, looking at optomons and thadds work... i saw how much potential 8 bit graphics had. it was almost like learning from them, and there work inspired me to do this project, and so i paid homage to them buy making the first board ( the forest) based on there forest scenery, and for artistic reason to make it look like the same world. Furthermore Optomon himself seen my work and knows what I'm doing. Therefore none if this was ripped or stolen.  Thank you for having a look at my project. Ill be in touch...
