Is it possible to hack a Wii that has current firmware?

 Yes.

I play that game on my Wii.
That's a great game.

Me too. I'm too lazy to look myself. I'm betting it has something to do with a port of DOS box or something like that, though.

EDIT:

Boredom won out over laziness. There is a version of DOSBox for Wii.

That outfit sure is sexy.
So if I write a fanfic where Rusty gets turned into a succubus, does that mean she would be wearing more clothes?

There's a PC-98 emulator for Wii.
There's also a PC-88 emulator for Wii.
And there's DOSBOX for Wii.

The PC-88 and 98 emulators are somewhat clunky to use but emulate the game pretty well, last I checked.  It's tough though because of the lack of an on-screen keyboard (you need a keyboard for best PC-98/88 emulation).

That's an amusing thought.

Dosbox has support for usb keyboards, do the others?

I agree. I found it much easier to play Rusty using a controller then the keyboard. I had to fiddle with the PC-98 emulator on my computer but it was worth it in the end.

Dalles, thanks for posting the game in a pre-configured DOSBOX format. Over the years I've always seen a few screenshots and plenty of gameplay vids but never got around to actually playing it personally. Now it's all too convenient not to miss! I'm gonna plug my wired 360 controller and take a swing at this thing. :D

I'm happy to be of help. Note: initial cutscenes may still require keyboard to skip -- if the gamepad doesn't work, don't be put off. It definitely works ingame, I played this with no JoyToKey or XPadder whatsoever. Dosbox detected the gamepad and the game supports it, I saw this myself.

To me it fits like a glove to the music tilte and the anime style, it make me feel like "Im returning, but with full force this time, no holding back" lol

I got HBC working on my Wii now so I'll have to give this game a try sometime.
