I REALLY wish they'd make a 2 player mode for this though. I know the sky has a better chance of falling than Konami doing this but it'd really give the game a bit more replay value, especially if you could play online via Game Center or something. Great little game though, definitely way underrated.
i agree totally.

I would also agree! It would have been fun competing against humans.
It was a great thing that they slashed the price from $4.99 to .99 cents.

Wow, is that how much they're asking for it? O_o It's an excellent game but definitely not worth that. I think I paid $2.99 for it when it came out and even that seems a little high.

I was messing around with Arcade Mode and trying to figure out which characters were the best. I need to do more research but I think I have a good idea of what a tierlist would look like.

Thus far I see Dracula and Succubus being top and Maria being bottom. I have to do a little more research. Dracula is pretty strong though. He's easily top tier and has the most devastating specials as far as I can see. So far it seems like:

Dracula
Succubus
Librarian
Death
Shaft
Richter
Alucard
Maria

This is all just educated guesses till I play them more.

I could see that due to Richter's second special being really good. I'll have to mess with Shaft more today if I get a chance.

Haha, indeed!

I forgot how much fun this game is. I guess last time I just got stuck (at Richter) so I gave up on it. Leveling up is a lot harder in this game since it seems like the levels take more EXP to reach. I've been grinding a little because I feel a bit underleveled (I'm at level 18 and am pretty close to the end of the game).

Ah yes. Here is a link. http://castlevania.wikia.com/wiki/Son_of_Dracula

I would suggest to grind at the earlier levels when it is easy to level up, then just fight all the bosses to give you instant level ups until 30.
As of this point you might want to go after the rare drops in order to complete the card list or weapon sets.

Yeah I'm thinking about that. I only have about 300+ Hp right now and so taking on some of the bosses seems like suicide.

I wish this game had a bestiary so I could see what drops I'm missing. I filled out the bestiary by getting all the drops in SoTN and I'd do it here too if the game had one.

Yeah that is not a good enough HP level. With that HP some regular enemies would also be a pain.
I also want a bestiary but we just have to bear with what the game provides.
