Topic: Is it just my ISP or are the forums loading slowly lately?

As the topic stated, it just seems like when I want to browse these forums, it takes a little while to load, especially to log in.

I have a slow internet connection and the Dungeon loads just fine.

I should have written in about this too. Even though my PC was nuked and paved two months ago the Dungeon's pages have been slow to load. Of course this was happening even before I reset my machine. Half the time I have to stop the load and then try again which usually bypasses the issue, but it is a bit annoying to say the least. All I can say is that no other website I go to has this issue. It only seems to happen here at the Dungeon. Could it be an issue with the server?

I know the server was undergoing various problems a little while ago, but I don't know if that's still the case. I don't have any speed issues, but I have gotten SMF error pages recently when trying to load the boards.

Those error pages, if they don't last long enough would mean that Jorge is tweaking the forums.

It's been slow for me...but I'm pretty sure it's my internet being crappy...other things are being slow or dumb for me, not just the forum.

Well, it's been like this for awhile. It's not my ISP because everything else loads fine, including the Dungeon site itself, it's just these forums that load slow. It's like being on a 56k modem xD

I'm not feeling slowdown... but no, I've not been tweaking the forums.
I will be tweaking them come 2015 around early January, to jump on the latest version of SMF.
