This is a early version of the Dracula X title screen for SNES.

For comparison this is the final title screen:

The title screen was found in this video:

Huh, interesting that they've used the Rondo of Blood title screen at one point in development, though it could've been a placeholder.

If only I was OP.  The obligatory "he he, thank you!" quote would've been more fitting.

Ohh nice find. The 1st level seems final, or almost, but what about the big "CONTINUE" screen? I don't remember it in the final game.

For better comparison... well I guess they tried to use a different background for the US version, before deciding to stick to the stoned wall, just changing the title itself.

Left: Chi no Rondo title screen (just before the title appears)
Right: Dracula X US E3 version title screen

Left: Dracula X US final continue screen
Dracula: Dracula X US E3 version continue screen

Left: Dracula XX JPN final title
Middle: Dracula X US final title
Right: Vampire's Kiss EUR final title

Final continue screen here. I doubt the early continue screen is only a semi- placeholder for showcase usage.

Ah, good, added the final screen and the E3 one to my previous post.

Looks non-final to me...?

Also, the E3 version doesn't show the map at all. Could mean the game resets/stops after the 1st level? Maybe with a teaser screen/text? This is what the demos of Chi no Rondo and the X68000 episode do.

It's good that someone noticed the other screeens that were different too. I didn't notice those. I could just tell that the title screen was way different.
