I did...don't want to monopolize out of the gate, but CV2, flame whip, burned hands...etc. Creepier ones too. Lots of nightmares in my lifetime...deviated septum, sleep apnea, etc.

You?
Are ya smokin' yet?!

Waking up from a dream about a new Castlevania can be pretty nightmarish.  :'(
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13104670/1/Castlevania-Birth-of-the-Dragon

Dracula was not always a monster. He was once a man named Mathias Cronqvist. A flawed, conflicted, genius of a man. How did the educated, aristocratic, crusader who piously served the church become a vampire, and eventually the Dark Lord himself, the opposing force to God? From a very young age terrors and tragedy shaped the man into the king of all evil. This is his story.

Nope, never nightmares about video games. Interestingly enough I had a premonition about OOE, in a dream, years before it came out, during the time AoS was released.

Oooh, that sounds interesting.  How did it play out?

Also, I don't recall any nightmares about Castlevania.  Then again, I tend to forget most of my dreams.

Never about Castlevania, but a fair few about Dead Island, but they all ended with me becoming aware of the fact that I was in a video game and turning it to my advantage. Then I was just playing Dead Island in my sleep.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

It's not much of a nightmare, but I recently dreamt about AoS/DoS that felt exactly like JoJo.

Nope. Never had a nightmare of Castlevania. Pretty hard to since it's a series I love to death. I only ever had good dreams of CV. One in particular was seeing in action, a 2.5D CV game in the style of Super Castlevania IV. Conan Simon never looked more badass and the stage I witnessed never looked more amazing  8)

I never had a nightmare about Castlevania.
Whenever I dream that I'm in Castlevania, I'm a badass vampire hunter.

Oooh, that sounds interesting.  How did it play out?

It's hard to explain.. Basically I saw a glimpse of Wygol Village with Shanoa in it for about 3 seconds. Shanoa was garbed in white (a bit like Soma's Sprite) but it was clearly a woman with long black hair. I can still remember the music, it was similar to tracks I've heard between the AoS/ PoR era, but not quite the same. At first I thought the stage was part of the castle, with vines growing around the walls. Only years later when playing OOE did I have a massive Déjà Vu/ flashback and realise that. I stil remember waking up with a splitting headache after having that dream.

I've had plenty of Castlevania based dreams, often with Alucard involved, but never nightmares.

I once had a dream about being brought by two figures in black (Guns pointed to my back) and being forced to test play a Castlevania V/5 they made
(presumably an independent team got copyright of CV brand).
First stage was at the top of a train, player (a Belmont) swings his whip to attach on the train and climbed with a backflip and 3-D animation in Dracula X Chronicles style.
Game was a bit of mixture of both Rondo of Blood and Ecclessia with a mixture of weakened collecting/leveling element and strengthened stage-based structure , Shaft and Balowe was Dracula's left and right arms, at the middle of adventure progress inside the Castle they summoned DXC winged dragon, semi-Dogether semi-peeping big creature and a semi-Final Guard headless heavy-armored guardian before fight with them.
At the deeper area of the underground player can ride on a defeated (but not died) semi-Golem semi-wolf creature to break through a path then you can beat any enemy on your sight with the mighty power of Golem-wolf in a fairly long time or you can kill the creature for far more experience bonus but must pass through a long and dangerous lava area by horned skills.
A very long Dracula stage. Then I was ordered (Guns pointed to my back again) to not to be spoiled more and being kicked out of the dark underground computer room where they were developing their games. After a few moments the dream ends.

Aceearly1993@ Somebody should have told those two gun-totting individuals that you'd be willing to play the game anyways since it's Castlevania, lol.

@X
Yes. If I encountered similar situation in real world I'll test play the games anyway. No matter how creepy it would be.

I'll try! ;)  Of course, I'll have to make sure that it's only original timeline Alucard that gets sent, and not Trevorcard, as I have had dreams involving him as well. :D
