What do you think of adapting THIS Dracula into Castlevania?

This is from an Old Marvel Millennial visions comic, it never appeared in stories, but I thought it was one of the more interesting and nightmarish versions of Dracula I've seen, so I felt like sharing it.

Maybe this could be a comeback for the Count, having lost the Crimson Stone and most of his power, he's still not ready to give up the ghost and will use any means possible to keep himself alive... or whatever vampires are.

Perhaps using genetic engineering and (mad) science where he used to rely on magical evil powers.

Just a thought..

Well it looks more like something's happen to his mouth, so that he now needs  that thing to feed him blood, what ever happen he looks weak. but still seems to hold some power. so maybe in another world, in 1999, he infact was not killed but Julius smashed most of the stone. so maybe any wounds he got, from that fight he didn't have the power to heal, as the VK really does a number on the unholy. and coming back from the dead after that sort beating  would take its toll on anyone.

And using science to aid anything supernatural, is something I have been toying with for some time, so this pic really does speak to me.  there will be mad scientists trying to unlock the secrets of the dark arts, like growing there own monsters in like huge tubes.  and it would be up to the Belmont of that time to hunt down the scientists  and the count himself, there really could be a game in this.
yeah like the  count  could have promised scientist power , if he would help him regain his full power, and so he's now doing all sorts of test on the stone to try to unlock its power. And the count has always seem to be in to the whole science bit, as there were a lot of that sort of thing in C64, as well as other modern ideas  such as the large model of a Zeppelin.
And that game was set in 1852, and the Zeppelin itself was not even  formulated until 1874, so that is VERY cutting edge.
So the count Turing to  science to help him is very fitting.
But that's just what I think.

But yes I love this pic, thanks for sharing

I agree, there could be an interesting game in this *if it is done right. Because if the series is rebooted it will probably use some new story elements. It's almost like a Dracula version of Frankenstein. But it seems his head leaves his body using bat wings - this part is borderline comical. I'd be kind of miffed if the final boss was a flying head with a syringe. But if the whole game was low key with more realistic, old style horror action and art, I could see it making sense.

Yeah I agree with this.

I saw the last boss, in his monster form. as the boss you fought before him was the mad scientist. and he was just keeping busy.  as all his test on the stone has made it so that he can now give the count his full power.  but the count uses the power too soon, so it was not fully transferred in to his body. So after you beat, him its like will he come back or not.  And will the mad scientist come back as the new death.
man that be cool.

Looks like this Dracula had an accident and is partially merged with a mosquito. Get the Raid and the DDT exterminator!

After X years, Dracula is suddenly worried about blood-borne disease?  And cholesterol?!!

He does sound pretty creepy from the description though.  He looks kinda creepy too, though as it was said this could turn out more comical if not done right.  I think it seems more like a character who would be another boss on the way to Dracula.  Lacking the power and prestige, but still being pretty tough and frightening.  Or maybe the whole theme is changed from gothic-horror to sci-fi horror and mix in other scary sci-fi stuff.

I think it was darkmanx

I don't really like it for the fact that it's turning Dracula into the Elephant man without necessity. Dracula has a thirst for blood, but this is not his main end game. In Castlevania the way I personally see it is that he wants to cloak the world in darkness, or at least Europe. In addition to exterminating the Belmonts who continuously succeed in thwarting his plans.

Turning him into a mosquito doesn't fit the persona for me. This may be an enemy who's been experimented on by Dr. Acula? :-X

Looks like Carry and Maria broke into Castlevania 64's lab and nabbed some modern firepower, lol.
