LoS is well and truly dead, as it deserves to be.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.
Which leaves us utterly without any active Castlevania game franchise of any kind in any shape or form.Yay.Not really sure that's a victory. I'd rather have bad Castlevania than no Castlevania. So if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna relive some teenage memories and go play Curse of Darkness.
I'd rather have it die in dignity or kept alive by fans and IGA (sort-of, via Bloodstained), than butchered and violated.
A few days ago Konami released a mini album in advance of the pachislot release, features arrangements of the 3 classic castlevania tracks and divine bloodlines. My boy Takeshi Kuramochi did it again, he delivered an awesome Bloody Tearshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HroYskLSAIk
Honestly, The pachislot games abuse my weakness to kick-ass re-arrangements.Also, in the last pachislot, I just noticed Richter using the Combat Cross, even If the CGI in that one was godawful
Does that mean https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12539573/1/Eight-Arms-to-Hold-You is more schlocky than LoS, or would you say it's par for the course in terms of LoS's schlock levels?
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care. It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.
