Dracula's Curse (Wii VC)

It's out! Go get it! :)

The best thing to ever happen to the NES, can now be right there on your Wii menu for whenever you feel like experiencing its awesomeness again.

For $5 (500 Wii points) it's an absolute must for CV fans who own a Wii. And for those who don't get why 8-bit is gold, this may very well school you.

Here's IGN's review:

Here's the one we've been waiting for.

I bought it right away and am playing it now

I check the new vc releases for this every week. I was so happy today when I saw CV3. Awesome. I actually wrote Konami letters begging for this, because I am lame that way I guess.

Finally! It's been some time since we've seen something worthwhile as a download in the Wii Virtual Console. 8)

Indeed, I can't think of anything released in recent times more worth the 500 Wii points than CV3: Dracula's Curse. I've already downloaded my copy of it even though I still retain my original NES cartridge, box, and manual. That IGN review was very good too and I think the rating of a 9 out of 10 was excellent for such a great game. Thank you for posting the link to that. :)

I own the original cart with sleeve, box, and instruction book. I'm not paying $5 to rebuy the game.

Already had the retranslated superior looking and sounding, CV3(j) on my Wii a long long time ago. Not paying for an inferior version.

Hallelujah, it's out!  I got the cart, but no workable NES to play it on.  I'll eat this up and enjoy not having to save passwords every time.  I'm going to try to beat it without the Help Me name for once in my life.

I have the cart for the game Antraxx, and why pay 5 when I could get it for free.

Me "Yeah!"
Wife "Awsome! your soo good baby!.....Now you can stop playing the damn thing!"

Me "CV3 is out!"
Wife "Ill be at my moms"

You need the classic controller though, right?

I'm pretty sure you can use a GameCube Controller with CV3: Dracula's Curse. Heck, you can even use the Wii Remote turned on its side as it has all the necessary buttons to play NES games. ;)

I hope you enjoy the game. I know I will be very soon. :)

That's how I play most of the NES releases ;)
