Remake? Meh. I kinda wish that they would take the time to make a brand new castlevania game but I might check it out.

I wouldn't like that actually. CV1 is perfect as it is. Unless its a remake in the way that SCV4 is a remake of CV1, then I don't think they should change it at all.

I think it's Konami, not one particular person.

Keep the classic structure of the original but add branching paths so yo can unlock alternate stages(like RoB)! That would be awesome!!

Guys, it's IGA we're talking about
Since when was IGA attached to THIS specific title?

I know nothing about game development, but I don't think this is something that a company would need a 3DS dev kit for. I mean, the game is already made....they're just re-working 3D into it. It's very presumptuous to just go and trash IGA when we have no idea if he's even involved.

He hs A development kit, but it would be foolish to assume he was the only one at Konami who did.

And what if he's doing Contra 3DS? He's helped with ReBirth in some fashion..

I have the feeling that the 3DS Contra will come from another CV-ish source...

Nope. That would take time and money, both of which are only allowed to Hideo Kojima nowadays.

I don't know, and I sort of hope not. Especially if it's in tone similar to LoS. The Contra series is probably the last series out there in terms of needing a reboot. :P

I think Konami can pull off a successful CV 3DS transfer so long as they do it like what was done with Super Mario All-Stars.
