Topic: Castlevania PoR Hack Update Incoming

Hi everyone!
With the new DSVania tool, I have updated a few stuff in my PoR hack and I'll be adding more changes.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to make the jump kick and diagonal whip for Richter with proper sprites and animation.
Also, the possibility to add Adult Maria into the game is high.

Anyone with ROM hacking experience or DSVania tool knowledge and willing to help will be very appreciated.

Edit: Small progress. Took me 2 hours for the idle animation.

They are playable without having to hack the game. So I don't really know what you're trying to say.

sorry do not explain me well, I mean you can play with normal movements as in serious cv fighter, although I think too it would be a problem for the lack of sprites right?

It has possibility. Sprites can be brought from Serio.

More SOTN Maria is always good.

And it's about to come true. I'm done with the idle, crouch, up and walk animations.

Yes. With Tinke (maybe Pemburu knows about it, but if he doesn't, then here is my suggestion). You can extract and reinsert all sound effects used by the game, meaning that if you get your hands on Adult Maria's SFX, you can replace Young Maria's. Nothing will break as long as the file is more or less the same size as the original (NEVER bigger, or the extra space will move stuff around and break everything).

And yes, it works. I've already done it to laugh my ass off at Dracula uttering memes to summon his moves.
