I honestly don't know how to unbox this TV. I'm alone with this. How should I start to unbox this? I want it now, but I honestly think I might not have the brawn.  :-[ Should I just go for broke?  :P

Damn, sounds like a good problem to have...sort of...

Maybe lay it flat with the screen side facing up, and pull it out of the box that way? Not sure.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

This is the most sound way of doing it by one's self if there are no others. Or Bengr Hausve you could lay the box down flat and cut it apart. That's another solution. But just be careful not to cut the merchandise.

^this

as for getting on its stand or wherever, don't be afraid to get some rope and something tall and rig a pulley system to get it lifted--sounds a bit over-the-top but don't try just up and lifting a 65 by yourself, that's just asking for a bad time

It shouldn't be heavy, just bulky.
If you're getting a lot of weight, it may be either the stand or the backing or maybe a frame if it came with one.
You can do this!

Like others said, lie the box flat with the screen side facing out, and open the top.  You will probably see lots of styrofoam edges that you can slowly pull.

you're asking how to unbox that thing, while i'm sitting here wondering, "why did he get such a big tv for such a small-looking room?"

... but seriously, i'd suggest to wait for a family member or a friend to help with that.

Dang I want that TV and the cat.

I suggest the same as the others, lay it flat on the floor and pull it out.
