it already has the most perfect fun and replay value in the entire history of horror!!

despite launch days issues, its already very playable on all platforms, people just gotta be smart and adapt and be social and expand their friends list for the game, and utilize private lobby

on all platforms there's already streams and videos of people playing and enjoying the game

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTKwaxo3BD5MSFOzLkjC1ZVKlcwVoEuEg

and it helps being more social and proactive with private lobbies, instead of expecting quick play to do everything.  also the times people couldnt log in, any understanding gamer would know they got overloaded with players and are fixing things, since launch there has been noticable improvements.

this is the one game where players fully benefit resorting to private lobby, social communities, and expanding their friends list for the game.   its much better than quick play, and a lot of great people to meet online (there's also some bads people met, but surprisingly, there wasn't a single player I met that had bad conduct, maybe big ego, but no friction between players went on in the lobbies I was in).

for those on the fence, I recommend waiting days or weeks more to let the game get more polish so more people can
enjoy it with no serious issues.   They shouldn't mess with the balance or anything though, it's actually perfect with the challenge and everything.   just polish up some server things and it'll be golden.

even after they fix quick play, I'm still gonna use private lobbies in combination with F13th PSN community wall to find players, on top of the friends lists as well.  already got so many people, its tough reserving room for them all.    ;D

this game is so much better than DbD, more amount of players, better character selection, more mature design, atmosphere, better graphics, gore, ways to escape/win and much more!!

it really is the ultimate horror playground to date. I'm already over level 20. Even despite the server issues and level 0 issue, I still got to level 18 on the 3rd day since launch.

I am genuinely happy for the success of this Kickstarter. This may be one step closer to a proper Nightmare on Elm Street title.

Yea normally I dont psn community nor use private lobbies, but this game is exception, even if they fix quick chat, I'll stick with using private lobby and PSN community

We are making headway on Xbox One and PS4. We are not saying specifics as we want to be sure, 100% when we announce the patches that they are good to go. Bear with us, but know that our team has been working without much sleep to get these patches to you to improve matchmaking and other aspects for console gameplay. You are our top priority right now, and the moment we have news we will let you know. It's hard to come in and say 'stay tuned,' but your patience is appreciated. Things are looking up!

As for our Steam players; things seem to be stable! We are monitoring, but it issues with XP/CP gain seem to be gone. If you see any issues, please contact us with the Bug Report subforum we've set up on either the Steam Forum or forum.f13game.com.

With our launch smoothing out, we as a team cannot wait to start talking about continued support for this game, and our thanks to you fans, supporters and community. We appreciate the kind words and totally understand the frustration and will be doing everything we can to ensure that when you play, that it's going to be fun!

I heard the real survival horror of this game is the immense dread you face as you endlessly wait for the game to connect to an active server.

they fixed a lot of things, though yes its recommended to use a PSN community and network with people to optimize your playerbase for the game.

Also, great upcoming stuff

a new playable Jason is coming. IllFonic had almost no specifics to share, but it did say will feature unique kills. Meanwhile, all existing versions of Jason will receive new kills, though specifics numbers or details weren't shared. You can see some behind-the-scenes shots from a motion-capture session in the gallery below, which may provide some hints about what to expect from the kills.

The Retro Jason (released back in June as an apology for issues plaguing the game) will be temporarily removed. This is in order to provide it with a "little TLC work" that will take about a month. At least part of the overhaul will consist of new music that plays for players on both sides in a match

Multiple new maps are in development, but one in particular will launch "sooner than you might think." It will be released for free, and while its setting hasn't been revealed, IllFonic said it's "ripped straight from the films." This is separate from the recent news that several existing maps are being modified to also have smaller, denser versions.

Two new counselors are also on the way; IllFonic teased that they could be complete newcomers or existing Friday the 13th characters. A new clothing pack will allow you to customize your counselors' looks, as will the Spring Break 1984 clothing pack. This beach-themed DLC launches "soon" and consists of bikinis and swimsuits for $4, though it will be available at a discounted price of $2 for a limited time (international pricing hasn't been announced). One of the outfits can be seen in the gallery above.

Finally, a free emote pack is on the way that consists of eight different gestures, including a very over-enthusiastic thumbs-up. This will coincide with the addition of a new UI for gestures, allowing you to select emotes for each counselor.

Friday the 13th has sold about two million copies. One major change that was announced this month is the removal of team-killing, an issue that has seen "rampant" abuse. It will now be impossible to kill teammates with weapons, though hitting them with a vehicle will still do Jason's work for him.
