The Script to the animated "Castlevania: Dracula's Curse" movie is complete. It's written by comic writer Warren Ellis. You can read his production blog at www.castlevaniadraculascurse.com
if you haven't been already. Apparently it's "Snake-Fuckingly Crazy".
What a horrible night to have a curse!

comic is a word not associated with lone hunters of hell's creatures or its environment of sorrow...

Uhh, what?

You're aware that the definition of comic being used here is "a magazine that consists almost entirely of stories told in a series of colored panels in which balloons over the characters' heads provide dialogue and the thoughts of the characters", not comic as in "funny", right?

Anywho - as far as the script being finished goes, that's good news. Hopefully we'll see something in the early part of 2008.

If it's better than Van Helsing and Bloodrayne, I'm totally there.  8)

Where to begin...
Van Helsing was utter garbage.  Terrible acting, ridiculous plotlines and don't forget about the completely unexplained way of killing Dracula.  "Only a werewolf can kill Dracula!"  "Why?"  "STFU".

Bloodrayne... you know that was one of Uwe Boll's movies, tus purposely made to be shitty for a tax write off.

And Grant Dinesti is more than likely the correct translation, the Dinesti family were the rivals of Dracula's family.

Dracula was not always a monster. He was once a man named Mathias Cronqvist. A flawed, conflicted, genius of a man. How did the educated, aristocratic, crusader who piously served the church become a vampire, and eventually the Dark Lord himself, the opposing force to God? From a very young age terrors and tragedy shaped the man into the king of all evil. This is his story.

Danesti.

The chick that played Rayne in 2 made a better Rayne visually than Kristanna Lokken but man Kristanna is smokin hawt. That sex scene made it worth sittin thru that shitty movie. Sadly no such redeemers in 2.
