Frankenstein is one of the toughest bosses in the game. Frankenstein is not only one monster, but in fact two. The only time you can inflict damage is when you can hit Frankenstein and not the Gremlin. If you hit the Gremlin, no damage will be taken, you will only paralyze the Gremlin for a short time. Just dodge the Gremlin's attack which is him spitting fire at you and you should do fine. Keep in fact that if you have holy water, the fight will be a quick one. If you have the Holy Water on you, just come up to the closest block and jump on it and throw the Holy Water at him repeatedly until he dies. This is a cheap method, but it's the easiest way of killing him without dying.
