Among the many things you will will encounter are weapons. In CastleVania weapons help you get passed the level you are on easier. As well as the weapons make it a hell of a lot easier to defeat bosses if you know how to use them right. So here are all the weapons you will aquire while playing through CastleVania.
| Throwing Knife | |
 Quite possibly the worst weapon you aquire in CastleVania is the Throwing Knife. The Throwing Knife only serves it's purpose in the beginning stages in CastleVania. Later on in CastleVania it's basically numb as it won't inflict much damage at all. The only high point with the Throwing Knife is that it can kill enemies from far away, because of how quick it can travel across the screen. This is really helpful when fighing those irratating Gremlins in Level 3.

| Holy Water | |
 The most useful weapon in the game has to be the Holy Water. This item is used almost everywhere in the game and has proven itself to be a worthy weapon when fighting bosses. Holy Water is basically Holy Water with an added effect of purification/excorcism. When used, the Holy Water shatters on the floor and a fire breaks loose to where it shatters. When an enemy goes near the fire they receive damage. This item is especially useful for most of the bosses in the game, like the Medusa Head, the Mummy, and Frankenstein. The only weakness of this weapon is that you won't have an easy way of killing airborn enemies.
