Oh, dear. That's three pages of discussion I've missed while I wasn't here.
I'm glad this new trailer was released; it's by far the most powerful one we've seen. The debut trailer looked amazing, but elucidated little about the plot; The demo and the E3 trailer, while monumental in scale, seemed somewhat unfocused. Dracula's Vengeance isn't extraordinarily long, but it perfectly captures the struggle around which LoS2 revolves. And the voice acting in the trailer is impeccable. Carlyle seems to have outdone himself this time. Bravo.
I'm more divided on the artistic choices. LoS2 sports the darker, gothic tones which I've always appreciated in the series, and I'm very glad to see it. On the other hand, I'm not too enthusiastic about some of the character designs; while I admire Dracula's general aspect, I'm not the biggest fan of the open-chested armor he wears. Somehow, it seems out of place. And I simply can't swallow Alucard's new appearance. He simply looks... ugly, especially since he's given a carbon copy of his father's armor.
On the other hand, Victor and Trevor look decent, and Zobek's character is quite well-executed.
I'm also unsure why MS needed to add "Blood is Family -- Blood is Power -- Blood is Everything" in the end. It hurts the trailer's finale, serves no apparent purpose, and comes out as more than a little cheesy.
Blood is Good.
Blood is Drink.
Blood is Red.
Blood is... Blood.
And as for that mysterious, robed figure, I'll assume it's Shaft. It'd certainly be interesting to see him in the LoS continuity.
