I read this today.
Anyone with an Apple Product can do this, it seems.  How miserable... for Apple to have such a gaping security hole.

Get Any App from the Apple Store by Installing Snow Leopard and an error in Apple's behalf

Always claiming to be so secure, Apple seems all ripe for the goatse-ing with this blunder. xD
