Got a strange GBC game cartridge labled "Castlevania 2 Fuu'en Chapter". Just when I wonder if the ROM had been dumped it was spread on the Internet.
It's a pirate/bootleg port, based on Legend of Fuma/Getsu Fuu Ma Den on FC/NES, and they actually did a good job to port it to GBC.
They didn't forget to turn the background tiles to more Castlevania-akin
It has fluent and bright background that looks amazing on my GBA-SP and I like it more than original now

This is always a good way to start a creepypasta, some random cartridge game that nobody else has a copy of XD

I've been on a PSN spree lately, playing stuff that I haven't given much time when I first bought it. Been playing Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, but now I'm hooked on Pinball Arcade, specifically Medieval Madness. Damn, that game is so addictive. I've always sucked at pinball, but I'm starting to get a lot better, and it's pretty fun now.

I think I might check out that one next, looks like such an awesome (yet brutal) table. But it looks really fun, and the design is excellent. And that song...

Beat "Castlevania 2 Fuu'en Chapter".  The game was heavily modified from original (Legend of Fuma/Getsu Fuu Ma Den) and they cut all the underground maze and I believe the last stage was cut somehow. I don't know why but they would run out resource or the underground maze was beyond what GBC can do, I guess. It would not be a big loss since the underground maze was long and less meaningful. They even modified the overall route in about the 3rd land.

Finally sitting my keester down and doing a long playthrough of the settlement setup in Fallout 4. Once I got around to actually doing it (after saving up my resources) it can actually be a bit fun. Also I ran into a follower named Robert Joseph MacCready. The same MacCready who was the mayor of Little Lamp Light in Fallout 3. I had no idea until he warmed up to me enough to tell me his backstory. Aside from MacCready and the Institute, I have to wonder about other elements from fallout 3 that have made it over to fallout 4 since both games share the same Commonwealth area.

A little Puyo Puyo Tsuu to break up the monotony of the occasional KoF I've been playing lately. Though I find as I get older, I play less and less games, despite collecting more and more. Perhaps I hit the proverbial "What to play next" wall some collectors talk about.

Nothing wrong with that, Alundra was a Zelda rip-off and even innovated upon Zelda, and did a much better job imho.

I'm still on Project X Zone. Gameplay is the only thing keeping me going at Chapter 35. Tired of fighting the same villains over and over in bland 3D environments. The game could've been a lot better, some inherent design flaws found through and through imo.

Alundra...great game. I'm still kind of pissed that I somehow left the map insert at the out-of-town video game store I bought it from, though.

Nah, I don't really need it, it just kind of sucks to have left a bonus item from a $60 game on the shop counter by accident.  :-[

Played Hitman: Absolution this past week...my first Hitman game. It was...okay. I keep forgetting how tedious stealth games can be.

Also still heavy on Pinball Arcade. Just played Machine: Bride of Pinbot last night and I finally was able to get the "billion point shot" 3 times. Such a great game...creepy, but in a good way. Your goal is to turn Pinbot's robot bride into a real woman. It's got a cube with each stage of her face on it, and you have to shoot pinballs up the ramp to make it progress to the next one. Like I said, kind of a creepy sci-fi theme, but in a totally enjoyable way.

Completed Project X Zone for 3ds. I was pretty bored and unimpressed by the end of the game.

I tried out Furi last night, it seems like a decent game but quite relentless. Maybe it's because I'm ill atm but my hands were getting sore from playing.

Currently playing HyperLight Drifter. This so far I'm very impressed with :)

Playing Gargoyle's Quest II right now. Seems pretty much par for the course when compared to the first one.

It gets better as you play. GQ1 is just a really good game, I don't think any sequel would really top it.

Oh, I didn't mean that to sound like a complaint, I like both games.

I did kind of cheese my way through it to save time, though...I used save states to avoid losing lives and having to backtrack after a continue.

Ah ok. I went oldschool with both games. I was surprised that aside from the "color" factor, GQ1 was pretty much superior in every way.

Edit: Last week I played through around 1/4 of Hyper Light Drifter. Solid game thus far. Though life has gotten too full on to be committed to it.
