Favorite games in a picture

So "favorite games" threads have been done to death on message boards all across the internetz. Well, I'm challenging you mofoz to do up a picture containing cool official art of the games, 'cos a list by itself is really uninteresting. Make it a top 5, top 25, top 1,000—whatever. Just compile a cool-lookin' image or a series of 'em or whatever.

This I did back in November. Top 25 put together in a big square image.

(Go here and click "Download" to see the full 2045x2045 image.)

The games are, going left to right in rows:

1. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES)
2. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
3. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES)
4. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
5. Super Castlevania IV (SNES)
6. Super Metroid (SNES)
7. Demon's Crest (SNES)
8. Cybernator (SNES)
9. Thief: The Dark Project (PC)
10. Diddy Kong Racing (N64)
11. Luigi's Mansion (GCN)
12. Metal Gear Solid (PSX)
13. killer7 (GCN)
14. Contra III: The Alien Wars (SNES)
15. Banjo-Kazooie (N64; XBLA)
16. Mega Man 2 (NES)
17. Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
18. Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)
19. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
20. Castlevania (NES)
21. Kirby Super Star (SNES)
22. Ico (PS2)
23. Earthworm Jim (SNES; Genesis)
24. Super Mario Kart (SNES)
25. Resident Evil (GameCube remake)

If I think about it s'more now, this list might look slightly different, but whatever. And actually, the whole bottom row would realistically probably be filled up by Castlevania games (Dracula's Curse, Rondo of Blood, Chronicles, Bloodlines, and Symphony of the Night, probably, in that order), but I figured two in my top 25 was enough. Didn't wanna overload it.

That game is the shizniiiit.

I particularly like playing the fan-translated ROM of Assaults Suits Valken. So much stuff got wiped clean for the US release.

Still gotta see the movie from which the US version owes its namesake.

Sweet tits. I can get behind some of those.

But Star Fox Assault? Really? I heard it was bad. Never played it, though. 'Course, people worship the N64 game but I'd say the SNES original is by far the best.

Its accually pretty sweet, since there are on-foot parts as well as classic sky parts. I pretty much used one game to summarize the series (or else I'd have like 4 Megaman pics) but I chose my fave out of that. I chose Assault mostly because you do the most, SNES version is the best, but the cover art looked wierd as well.
