The bosses look great and I also like the final stage too. I also uploaded the new Maria gameplay in Dracula X. Also, there seems to be new collectable items throughout the game.

Moon Fight is played during Stage 7. So I guess we can expect even more Castlevania classics in the game by finding music discs in throughout the game.
Found Sound Item No. 18
The Number of songs in the Game Menu, Sound Assign has increased.

they ruined Stage 7's music. I can't believe it......
it barely sounds anything like the original. This is an outrage. DXC was looking to have some really good remade tracks but STAGE 7'S music....is too unbearable to even call decent.
too many instruments, too far from the original masterpiece.
and technically Dracula's keep is the final stage (8th called Final)

Indeed! I like Akmodan's intro. : )
I swear I heard a "eewp" noise being made by the madusa head. When he whips at near the end of the game and kills, it sounds like the injury sound of the "Stone Rose". lol

Well that guy playin that was way better than the guy in the Maria SotN vid. Atleast he kinda knew what he was doin.
That looked good but I dont remember the mummies attacks bein that easy to get away from in the original version.

That's not a remix of the original Den; it's a different song called Moon Fight from Akumajo Dracula X68000 and the PS1 Chronicles. It might be that they replaced Den with it, but it might also be that it's one of the tracks you can collect and play instead of the regular stage music.
-
it sounds worse than a jazz band. and nothing like the original music. that's weird, they improved stage 1's music, but trash stage 7's music.
I think the composer is losing their focus. ::)

There is also new gameplay footage of Maria in Dracula X. There is also a new item I never seen before in the original game they collected in the Alt. Stage 2. I'm currently uploading that video now, its going to take a while for it come up for some reason.

no I can for a moment hear the original Stage 7 track within the remix. it's a freakin mish mash of different themes but overdone like several colors of playdoh and the wrong band playing it. that's how bad the new stage 7 remix is. that music DOES NOT need a freaking piano or saxophone. and whatever needless instruments they added. bongo drums, whatever. bleh. :P
well in any case it would be too much of a coincedence if that happens to be a track they replaced the original with through options or whatever. oh well at leats the original Rondo is packed in, so they saved face this time.

people, CALM THE FUCK DOWN.
The song is Moon Fight from Castlevania X68000/Chronicles. I'm 150% sure it's just part of the custom soundtrack, the original song is in the game.

well why would they promote the custom soundtrack version? that's supposed to be a secret.
-
Konami didn't take that video. Somebody probably had it set like that when the video was taken.
It's not a "secret" either-the box states you can make a custom soundtrack.

Ok guys, the new DXC Maria gameplay is also up. In the video there is a new item called Sound Item. Here is what it says in the video.
Found Sound Item No. 18
The Number of songs in the Game Menu, Sound Assign has increased.
So I guess you can choose what music you want to play in each stage, similar to how you can do the same thing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Nice videos. This game is looking better all the time.

Moon Fight RULES!!! ALL X68000 soundtracks RULES!! How dare some of you said Moon Fight is bad!! >:( It just doesnt fit this stage IMO.

About stage 7 song theme.Have you all forgoten Portrait of Ruin? You were collecting disc's with varius songs from the same game or other Castlevania games and you could use them as the stage sound track, that you were playing that moment. For example, you could use Belmonts theme on city of haze, even if it wasn't sound good on that stage. So after seeing that record collected with Maria and that they have mentioned about custom sound tracks,i think they have made the same think to this game and what we hear at the video,is a custom creation of that guy that play's.
-
Pretty cool idea if you ask me, and it definitely makes for more replay value.

Yeah, the jukebox it was called? It's too bad there wasn't that many songs for it, though. A remastered Successor of Fate/Juste theme would've been sweet.
