Selling my CDs

So I've had a bunch of CDs just hanging around in boxes for over a year now. I got as far as gathering them together, just haven't hauled 'em off anywhere yet.

I sold a few at another board, and seeing's how there's some metal dudes here, figured I'd see if anyone's interested before I take the lot to a music store. Which will probably be next week.

Only shipping to the US 'cos customs are a pain in the dick and it wouldn't be worth your while or money anyway since shipping to Canada is insanely priced and the rest of you don't exist.

$3 a CD, $2 an EP unless otherwise noted. All really good condition save for ones I picked up used; those are priced $2 or lower.

There are also a few higher than $3. You can try to talk me down on the prices. I mostly just wanna get rid of all this stuff, it's cluttering up space.

Shipping will be whatever the lowest USPS price is; when ordering a good amount of CDs, Media Mail is pretty dang cheap.

Payment is PayPal, though check or money orders are doable just a pain in the ass.

Now that's a list! Why are you selling them. Don't you want to keep them around in case you get the itch to listen to 'em again?

I've got a lot of other CDs; that list there probably isn't even half.

I've been feeling a strong urge to "purge" my collection (music, movies). There's a lot of stuff that even if it's good, the fact is I haven't listened to it in years and don't really care to. Some of the better metal albums like Gorguts and Cryptopsy I might miss, but I've got AAC rips of all this for that rare moment I wanna hear them.

I've kept all my favorite CDs, like Skinny Puppy, Iggy, Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, and a slew of other music including my most favorite metal (Black Sab, Solefald, Sigh, Devin Townsend, !T.O.O.H.!). I just felt it's finally time I get rid of the clutter.

You've got some great albums in there. Would have bought some but like you said, international shipping from US is so expensive It makes me want to rip my hair out. For many of the products I bought online the shipping cost more that the products.

For sure. PM me your address and I'll get back to you on the total. Shipping should likely be $3 and we can work out the payment in PMs.

Edit: Actually, if you just wanna PayPal me $18, I'll ship this stuff out ASAP (assuming you live in the continental US). abnormalfreak Gmail

Shipping stuff today so if you get the dough and address to me in time I'll send it out.

It is the Internet, so apologies for taking it as parodic. :p

If you've become a Christian, that's awesome. Though I do gotta ask why you feel the need to ditch everything? Talk about curses and that always sounded more like superstition than anything biblical.

Christian brothers and sisters have been at me for years saying I should do away with this or that, but I've never felt that conviction from the Holy Spirit myself.

Not hijacked at all. I've always thought you were a super-cool dude so here's one more bit of coolness I've learned.

Not imposing on others has always been my approach. I have friends in the faith whom I'm concerned for, and I've brought those concerns to them in prayer. Thing is, you can't really change a person's ways, only God can, so I try not to get into the nitty-gritty "you SHOULD do this." So who knows? I could be living in sin, or it's simply a matter of personal conviction that I'm fine with the entertainment and art that I like while it's simply not good for others.
