So I bought this yesterday, and god its so good. I love the dirty 16bit pixel art in 16:9, it's just crazy and perfect, really amazing, a new Akumajo in this style would be incredible. Has anyone else been playing it?

Oh wow! Reminds me heavily of Contra: Hard Corps. Looks like another game I need to try!
