Using the Sega Genesis on this one, as it stood out better then using the SNES or the custom soundfonts

I couldn't help myself, after breaking my 2 minute limit for music, I had to make something, something familiar, something everyone knew.

After playing the angel of destruction demo, and digging through its files, I couldn't help but redo this piece in SNES >.<

Not trying to necromance my old thread, I just haven't done any Castlevania music in some time, and this piece is a remake of a piece Jorge did a while ago.

It's been a while, but the thread necromancy limit is 5 months, so you should be good, Omega :) Cool remix!

Hey, I know what you did to make this...

im only using soundfonts and experimenting with combining some together as well as editing the original midi files in some cases, however ironicly, Ive found Jorge's Midi files to be the best for remixing or soundfonting with usually, but the odd instruments have to be tweaked to get it to sound right

Most unfortunately, my newer files use a lot more after-the-MIDI sound modulation, so you only get half of the story if you pick up the MIDI file.
You miss wah-wah effects, stereo flanging, guitar grunging, and other neato things I've been adding lately.

With the older files though, I'm always happy when I see people use 'em so it's OK (I appreciate the little credit in the description; some people don't put it and just claim as their own).

Sorry for necromancing this thread, But to answer Jorge above, If the midi file contains the original artist I try to include it, due to youtubes copywrite/autocontent ID stuff.
Ive been working on new music, and co-directing a new reboot of the old vampire blood chronicles, being an admin on minecraft server, and some other stuff been keeping me busy, I had forgotten I had this thread started
