General Castlevania Discussion / Re: [Netflixvania] Castlevania X: The Demon Castle Legend Cut (Final Remastered Ed)
« Last post by Jeepy on Yesterday at 08:47:19 AM »We included Monster Dance more as a reference to how the monsters start appearing in towns when night falls in Simon's Quest (and since I slept on recent CV content, Smash Bros remixes were a pleasant surprise for me), and to show how Dracula's generals are ruthless under the command of Hector and Isaac (compared to the Game of Thrones of the original season 2), plus it fitted perfectly playtime-wise, but yeah, I can see that.
I also didn't like the "Trefor" bit myself (and since Trevor was "Ralph" in the original JP version, it's even more silly), but it's probably one of the least offenders when it comes to the animated series' humour. It also gives some lighthearted comic relief at the moment of peace and makes early signs of Trevor and Sypha getting close, so that's why we kept it in.
Yeah, the influence Netflixvania might have on the new titles is concerning. I'm myself not too excited about Belmont's Curse, but we'll see.
