Salt.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Being from the south, almost all flavors are good to me but I tend to stray away from the sweeter flavors.  Preferably plain salt or sour cream & onion/sour cream & cheddar.  But, I also love Fritos and bean dip, Doritos, tortillas and salsa and I love me some Louisiana hot sauce Chicharrónes.

Kroger has a Salt and Vinegar chip in their own Simple Truth brand thats AMAZING. I eat like a bag a week. Those and Larry The Cableguy Fried Pickle chips are bad ass too. All the Larry the Cableguy chips are fantastic but theyre almost impossible to find. There was a lil mom and pop grocery store like a 5min walk from my house that sold em and if you didnt time it right theyd be completely sold out before you could get any. That place closed down last year cause they wanted to retire and now I cant find em anywhere =/
Tostitos Hint of Lime chips and their Cantina style thin chips are great too.

Grew up eating just the regular chips aka salted flavor. But I've also had my hand in the bags of other flavors too. Such as All-dressed, the occasional salt & pepper, BBQ, Ketchup. Other brands like Doritos' Nachos cheese are awesome with Pace Thick & Chunky Salsa. That one always made a good after-school snack.

Cape Cod Sea Salt and Vinegar are amazing, especially when you get a fresh bag, open it up, and the vinegar punches you right in the face. Ahh heaven.

Umm...do Funyuns count?

Wait...no...on second thought...Art's & Mary's jalapeno kettle chips. Those are godly. Those things can light your mouth on fire (seems to vary from bag to bag), but you just can't stop eating them.

I think they're just regional, though. There's only a few places here that stock them, and they're made in Kansas. But good lord, they're amazing.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

I've had kettle cooked Jalapeño chips too. They are addictive, but that's if I've got the craving for them. The brand we got for those chips is called Miss Vickie's.
