I'd have to wonder how hot they could make Konami girl look on the PS4.

Oh well, it's fucKonami. Every illogic works with them. What do we expect from them.

My days would be over if there is ever a AoS pachinko. But, thinking of AoS's popularity and fucKonami's recent activity, it wouldn't be long until it actually comes out

Dracula is not the opposite of God, as Castlevania told you.

Hideki Hayakawa is the opposite of God.

I mean, remember when he said that "Mobile is where the future of gaming lies"? I'd even take that over what they're doing now as even a commitment just to produce mobile games still produces actual games as an end result.

Now we just have this pachislot... I don't even know what a proper name for this fuckery is.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

SO what you're saying is, there may or may not be a Castlevania casino machine near me soon. And it may or may not have Simon, Hector, Dracula, Julia, and or their names completely mismanaged?

If that shit does come out I am going to see it and film it.

The machine itself is called "Concerto Crescent." The games (yes, they are two) are Castlevania: Valiant Guardian and Castlevania: Labyrinth of Love.
The mastermind behind the "Umbra of Sorrow" project. But not the only one.

Actually, I finally know what to call them now.

It's properly called "the Violent Rape of the Corpse of a Once Great Franchise", which now seems to be fucKonami's specialty.

Konami's always been kind of a "me too" company, it's just that in the past, they'd built up cool franchises that weren't overexposed. Unfortunately, now this me-too-ness and overexposure is catching up to them. They used to be a really innovative and clever company when they wanted to be.

They bet the video-game farm on a single franchise, Metal Gear, and now the Goose that lays that proverbial golden egg has flown the coop. They tried licensing out there other IP to 3rd parties and we see how that worked out. So now it looks like they're just going to sit on said IPs rather than sell them to companies that might actually do some good with them. Until they're so outdated and obscure they're not worth anything to any company.

I don't know why Konami was so against being a mid-level developer. That was a niche they filled perfectly but since they couldn't go big (due to mismanagement) it seems they're taking their ball and going home.
