Yesterday I have received a letter from Fanvisionfilms:

we are looking for 3d animators and 3d modelers and designer, graphic designer and matte painter.

Everything is prepared and production will start soon, but they need the people:

see your name in the movie titles, don't miss your chance!

1) Necessary skills example: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and other professional software.

2) There is no need to make a trip to Italy.
The work will be organized remotely, so you can do it right at home.

PLease move it to fan stuff or change the title to "CV-fan film casting started!" we seriously thought it was the hollywood one :P Good Luck!

We don't know that. They aren't Nintendo.

Nintendo doesn't own the rights to CV. Konami does.

I actually can't recall Konami ever sending a C&D to any fan games before. They seem pretty lax about the whole thing.

Konami is making their own Castlevania movie (Hollywood).
To avoid the confusion, Fanvisionfilms's movie will be named differently, "Vampire Killer"!

There are two very important things:

1) You don't need to be an actor!
If you have good art skills - i.e. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro - you can join them!

this can probably become better than any official movie due to genuine enthusiasm and efforts represented by true hearted CV fans..good luck!

My apologies: it is not exactly a "fan film".
Partially it is, because it will be made by a true fans of Castlevania.
But our production wants to put this movie in distribution (sure for a good movie)

That's all well and good, but it's still a fan movie if it's not directly endorsed by Konami, such as the animated CVIII one or the Hollywood one (unless I'm wrong about Konami greenlighting the CVIII animated one, but I don't think I'm wrong).


It still goes in Fan Stuff.

ive done some minor voice acting for fun, tho i can emulate g1 Shockwave from transformers near perfectly.

Is this all just a concept work at this point? There's like no information on it right now. Is it CG, animated? etc Do you have any concept art done for it or a script?

However, it is hard for me to estimate the amount of these effects.

2) The work is in progress! :D I already know some cool information, but I have not permission to release it!   :-X :rollseyes::P
Remember that Fanvision has a lot of other productions to finish and they are a little busy.
So, there is a possibility that at the moment the main attention and forces are devoted to another project.

3) As soon as Castlevania movie production will go to the full speed,
they are going to release a first teaser, which could contain

Fanvision probably needs more people, despite the work is already going on at full steam.

Well, I'd join this in a heartbeat but two things keep me from doing so. Poor mike, and while my voice isn't terrible, it isn't great. I don't think I'd even qualify as a villager. :P
