well its taken my longer then i anticipated, but I finally got around to changing the sounds over, note they are at 22khz stereo 16bit type waves, and sound moderatly ok, if needed i can rebatch at 44khz stereo, 16bit.
Batch 1 contains the general battle sounds, menu sounds, etc.
Batch 2 contains all the spoken parts during a battle including
battle damage, specials etc.
Batch 1: http://www.gamefront.com/files/20794100/CVJ1.rar (http://www.gamefront.com/files/20794100/CVJ1.rar)

Nice.......... I can put Dracula's sounds to good use. Thanks a lot!
And I know that you said that Death uses the same VA, but he sounds soooooooooooooo different in this game from SOTN!
-
Batch 2 is the battle sounds, right?
(cannot dl at the moment)
-
Batch 2, is mostly the dialog they use during fights, batch 1 has the battle sounds, mostly common sounds, oddly both judgment sound files, have english and jap for the voices, but only one had the menu and battle folders. batch 1 is up, and both are converted at:
22,050 Khz, 16 bit, Stereo
As to Esco, Death is likely sounding different due to age, or they may have added a digital effect to his voice, compared to SOTN
-
Nice job, thanks! :)
-
Thanks dude. I could REALLY use these. :D
-
There are a few unused sounds I noticed, not sure what Zako is in the game, aside another stage monster, the one in particular i labeled Unknown demon, ive never heard in game, after listening to the clips, I will likely start again, with new batches at 44,050 Khz 16 bit Stereo sound, since my current engine uses the 22,050 KHZ its limited to that, or else it gets an error, so for other users, i will use a higher quality batch, and include the japanese as well this time around
-
Any chance on you just posting the dracula ones that are in your 2nd batch, but in japanese?
-
Esco, will you use Alucard's clips, or is that a no since the Japanese Va is Mamoru Miyano instead of Ryotaro Okiayu?
-
all japanese voices will be placed in the updated versions, but dracula isnt norio wakamotto, all the jap va's are if i recall the deathnote actors

Does he sound similar to the jap. voice actor in SOTN?
-
TY very much, Omegasigma! :D

Yeah, had me fooled for a while.
-
Yeah, had me fooled for a while.
Great! It will work then.
-
since sotn, i beleive hes been Norio Wakamotto in the games since well, SOTN, DXC, HOD, DOS, POR, OOE, HOD GBA,
-
Wait........... so does that mean the original SOTN jap voice actor and the jap voice actor in DXC for SOTN are different?
-
*Japanese Dracula's Voice Actors
Hiroya Ishimaru: ROB
Norio Wakamoto: SOTN, DXC, POR, OOE, HD
Mahito Ōba: COD
Jōji Nakata: Judgment
*Dracula Wraith (Not Dracula)
Takuo Kawamura: HOD

Great work on the American ones, Omega. :D Any updates on the japanese voice clips? I am already using a few of the american ones for Dracula for the hack. 8)
-
Seeing as how Omega has not touched this in over 2 months, does anyone know how to rip the voices from this game so I can just do it myself? I am in need of several Japanese ones for Dracula before I can enable multi-language support in the SOTN hacked engine. 8)
-
I will try to get in touch with him and ask him to do the Dracula ones, can't promise anything tho.

Thanks to you too Don, for getting a hold of omega. It is appreciated.

Wow, well I will be the first to say nice work Omega. I know that it must have taken a while to get all of these out of the game (ripping stuff directly from games is NEVER fun). Great job! 8)

actually, using Wiiexplorer, and copied the data to usb, didnt take to long, it was the converting part, but using 8 core CPU does take less time, this time tho the japenese audio I converted at 44,000khz instead of the english which was at 22,000khz, the result is more quality but larger file size
cause you have to output raw-wave format to wav using winamp, in order to match it with english, you could use the english voice files and match the numbers to the jap to get your translation
