General Castlevania Discussion / Re: New Castlevania Season
« Last post by Reinhart77 on June 01, 2021, 02:26:48 PM »
I was reading this commentary article about Isaac and came across the line that the Captain told Isaac “If you don’t have your own story, you become part of someone else’s.”  This got me wondering if perhaps there might be a spinoff series in the future with Isaac as the lead.  Might not fit the bill for a new series being described as not being a spinoff and having a completely different cast, but maybe someday.

I finally played and finished Bloodstained. Some of the best video game music I've ever heard. I had a good time but was left very disappointed.

I hope whatever sequel they make isn't anywhere near as derivative of SotN.

Please no more Miriam. Only Zangetsu was cool for me. I think they are mentioning the sequel to Bloodstained in that document.

I wonder if the main Bloodstained series will continue to revolve around Miriam.
Or it could be like the CV series, set in an entirely different century, but revolving around similar themes of Shardbinding and Alchemy, but where as CV mainly focuses male protagonists throughout the centuries, maybe Bloodstained could focus on different female protagonists.

I've found these guys lately, they're prog/tech death, although a bit more grounded. Think more like later Death and early Cynic stuff rather than say Obscura and other similiar wanky tech death bands. While I'm not into all of their stuff atm, these two songs are really doing it for me, especially The Stranger, it's kinda uplifting in a way:

This thing here arguably drags on a wee bit(by which I mean it could be like 5 mins shorter and it wouldn't hurt the song, quite the opposite), but I can manage, as it's a rather calming song:

It's fucking Dio. Nuff said:

Welp, I'm engaged. Likely getting married the second week of October. Guess I'd better find a job before she changes her mind... lol. Would be nice to buy our own house within a year after marrying, so guess I gotta make munny (and my unemployment just ended).
