It's great for Konami to get these classics out and available to more people these days.  Still doesn't excuse the total lack of a new Metroidvania on the 3DS, but you have to take what scraps this company will throw at you anymore.
Braun is perhaps the world's leading expert in laser weaponry, and his presence in the Kavango means that the Soviet bloc is planning some sort of laser mission.

I confused Harmony of Dissonance with Harmony of Despair, so my mind was far more blown than it should have been. Nonetheless, I'm still excited.

For a minute, me too buddy, me too...

Lol.
This forum has a fun made up bestiary.

I guess AoS is coming NEXT week, now... Still, gives me time to: finish beating all the modes in CotM, get 200% in HoD, AND finish The Evil Within, which I'm also in the middle of.

I was planning on playing all three and switching whenever I beat a boss, but guess I gotta wait another week.  Those games are so nice though, could play them forever.

ah, it's nice to go back and revisit some old friends, seeing how they stack up against their successors. I will say seeing GBA graphics blown up on a 40 inch screen is a bit jarring. At the very least CotM benefits GREATLY from a brighter screen. Seriously, it's amazing I was able to beat that game on an original GBA.

HoD is cool but once I got to the "2nd castle" with the obtuse map-coloring bits, I lost all interest. Someday I'll pick it back up...

I actually find it difficult to decide what's the weaker entry between Circle and Dissonance. They both have the most flaws out of the handheld titles and haven't aged as gracefully as Symphony or the DS titles.

Well, DoS had soul grinding for a good deal of the better weapons rather than more naturally acquiring them like in say AoS and it had the rather silly touch screen gimmick seals. PoR had the most level design copypasta out of any of the games due to the portraits, and OoE had the areas being too linear. Frankly I'd take HoD's chaotic level design over PoR or OoE's.

I was rather fond of the various modes in CotM, actually.  While there was no real game change, I felt like the modes added enough difference to be enjoyable.  I haven't gotten any of these on the Wii-U yet...I'm assuming they're just ports?  Nothing really changed or added?

They look real nice in 1080p with screen smoothing on. Also the digitized manuals are fucking sweet.
