That is if we do get any type of other compilations...

You know what, Adventure Rebirth, Legends and the GBA and DS titles are now quite difficult to come by.

I believe at some stage, these will be made digital for purchase. I'm excluding 64 and LOD because they'd require quite an overhaul to be remotely appealing to contemporary fans. I can totally see LoI and CoD being released with upscaled graphics in a Requiem-like package.

To be fair, they did describe the Anniversary collection as the first Anniversary Collection, so at the very least, they do plan on doing at least one more collection.

I don't see them including any of the 3Dvanias in the package, nor do I see them using any of the DSvanias, since they'd actually need to be changed quite a bit to work on anything that isn't the DS or 3DS.

Ideally, what I'd want out of a second collection, assuming they're doing 8 games again, is:
-Adventure ReBirth, which is impossible to purchase now.
-Castlevania Chronicles, especially since it's technically two games
-Castlevania Legends, which is especially hard to come by these days
-Circle of the Moon
-Harmony of Dissonance
-Aria of Sorrow
-Vampire Killer
-Haunted Castle

And then, additionally, it'd be nice if they made Requiem multi-platform instead of a PS4-exclusive. Maybe do an update to put DXC and Dracula X into the collection, same way they updated the first collection to add the Japanese versions of the games?

If they did do the 3D games, though, it'd be nice if that were its own separate collection. Just CV64, LoD, LoI, and CoD all in one package. Or if they wanted to be lazy with it, just cut CV64 (though I prefer the stories of the CV64 cast in the original game rather than their LoD versions).

Come on man, we all know what they meant.  It's the first Castlevania collection, as in there's never been one before.  It does not mean a second one is coming.

Dracula was not always a monster. He was once a man named Mathias Cronqvist. A flawed, conflicted, genius of a man. How did the educated, aristocratic, crusader who piously served the church become a vampire, and eventually the Dark Lord himself, the opposing force to God? From a very young age terrors and tragedy shaped the man into the king of all evil. This is his story.

Hence why I said "at the very least, they do plan on doing at least one more". Planning on something does not mean actually doing it.

Also, it's hardly the first Castlevania collection of any kind. Chronicles, Dracula X Chronicles, the PC Castlevania/Contra collection, the GBA Dual Pack, Requiem. They've been doing Castlevania collections for years now.

Literally nobody considers 2 or 3 games a legitimate collection, not in a series of 30+ games. It is painfully obvious that this is what they meant.
