I had no idea who Gackt was until I played this PS2 game called Bujingai. The main character was supposed to be modelled after him or something? It was a pretty fun game too, stylish combat... reminded me of things like Otogi (Best action game I played on the original Xbox) and Shinobi/Nightshade (another pair of underrated PS2 gems). Anyway. So, yeah: Gackt.

Indeed, Gackt gives his performance and also makes motion capture to the game Bujingai. In the videos that comes inside the game you can see some footage like interviews with him.

PD I love too Bujingai. Since its cool intro to the crazy last boss fight.

He's involved in a lot of stuff - music, tv, theatre, games, and films.  He was in the film Bunraku alongside Josh Hartnett a few years ago or so, and has been in the drama Fūrinkazan as Uesugi Kenshin, a role he's reprised in festival parades.

Did this get mentioned yet?

That game has one of the best soundtracks of and NES title to date! I can definitely see some of these tunes being in castlevania.
