Title: I wonder how would have Monster!Maria looked

had they added that in SotN (or, from an in-universe perspective, had Shaft finished his ritual)

My theory is that she'd have looked like the Guardian Fist

I strongly suspect Maria's monster form would have been that hideous abomination Takiko was starting to turn into while she was having her wishes granted at the end of FYGK.

Except in Maria's case she would be consumed by all of the divine beasts.
