Dominique's Curse is the best thing to come out of Bloodstained since Curse of the Moon 1. I really enjoyed my time with it. Classic Mode 1 felt sloppy and uninspired, but Classic Mode 2 was a different story. The base Ritual of the Night game is solid and I enjoyed it, but I didn't fully love it. I was happier with Dominique's Curse overall, in spite of it being just an add-on. I hope its sense of lore and puzzle-solving is in the RotN sequel.

Cool review!  I haven't kept up with Bloodstained updates and didn't know there was a Classic Mode II until now.  I've barely touched Bloodstained after beating it and never even downloaded the updates like Iga's backpack.  I did play the first classic mode, so I must have played around with the post-game a little.  But I'll have to check out Dominique mode.

I have a feeling MS is doing the same faux "Lords of Shadow" thing and then later reveal "Its a Castlevania game" with the recently announced Blade of Fire. Albeit this could just be a sequel to their Blade of Darkness OG title.

Given it already has a publisher and it's not Konami, it's not a Castlevania game.

Though I'd love to have all the 3D games available, at the very least I'd like to have the N64 games in a collection. Maybe throw in the MSX Vampire Killer as a bonus, since they robbed us of it in previous releases.
