Ring of Fury Mode has Efrain beginning the game with the Ring of Fury equipped, hence the name. Given the ring's attributes, in a way, you could call it the equivalent of Hard Mode from some of the actual Castlevania games out there.

Ok, i've just downloaded the game to try it out, but when i run the file and go to new game, the only option is the ring of fury.......am i missing something here? I can't play the game, because i die in 1 hit.

We've run into some issues with the update.

We considered waiting until September when Mig gets back from vacation to release it, but we didn't want to make people wait an extra month when we had promised July.

Unfortunately in the rush to get it out before he left, some issues were overlooked.

I would like to apologize for the both of us and thank you all for your patience while we determine how to deal with these issues.

I've just completed the game 100% with every enemy, item, relics and so on but the mystery of the book of the caged souls and the heart level-up combination any clues....?
