We’ve been wanting a Castlevania collection for ages, so that would be extremely cool. Though I wonder what it would include? There’s no way it would be complete. I’d say they’d ignore Judgment and also most of the GBA and DS games (which would be especially sad since they are such a big part of the legacy by now). EDIT: Although if it’s a Switch exclusive, perhaps Konami think that the handheld games would make sense.

I think it would be this bare bones:

Castlevania
Simon’s Quest
Dracula’s Curse
Super Castlevania 4
Rondo of Blood
Symphony of the Night

Not holding my breath for these, but I guess they could be there:

Bloodlines
Castlevania 64
Legacy of Darkness
ReBirth (if these rumours are true, I guess?)
Chronicles

Unlikely:

Lament of Innocence
Curse of Darkness
Lords of Shadow 1-2

All the rest I’d say is highly unlikey (Mirror of Fate, Judgment, Despair etc etc....)

Given GoS has now been released, maybe there's some credibility to this whole rumour

I'm with VladCT and DarkPrinceAlucard. I'm not going to get hyped and hold my breath. I'll just wait and see what happens. If it wows me then I'll take it. If not, then it it won't hurt so much if I'm let down.

I'm a little excited... even a compilation would be amazing right now. Maybe we'll finally see Bloodlines ported to other systems for the first time.

An official modern port of Dawn of Sorrow that didn't force in the whole touch screen boss seal thing and just played like a normal Metroidvania would be pretty cool.

Castlevania 1-4
Rondo of Blood
Bloodlines
Adventure Rebirth
Symphony of the Night

If a collection happens and has all these I'll be happy.

Only five days before all hell let loose!! To be honest, i'd love to see a new Castlevania game, but knowing Konami up to this point, i have very little hopes or none at all.....

If true, this shows why trying to shaft their gaming division was so shortsighted and stupid of Konami. There's just too much money in the gaming industry to ignore. Not only did Japanese companies get an upswing last year, but the Netflix series reinvigorated interest for the Castlevania series, and of course the Switch became the hot new toy. Now they have to come back to E3 to push their wares.

Wouldn't surprise me, and with mirror of fate and lords of shadow 2 being download codes.
