Hell, it's Mahvel, baybee. It's gonna rock. Most of the Marvel Studios films have been a great time - and even the mediocre ones were hella better than Green Lantern. Also, this looks like all kinds of awesome.

So pumped. I never thought I would see the day where GotG gets a movie, but here we are. I pray for Rich Rider in there somewhere. Maybe some Annihilation teases for later down the road.

Abnett and Lanning's GotG is one of my favorite comics ever. It's so much fun, and since the movie is primarily based on their run, I expect it to be just as fun.  Also hoping for some Rich Rider references but what I really want to see is some Cosmo! You can never have enough Russian, Psychic Dogs!

Well, apparently the film does have The Nova Corps in there - so, possibility for an appearance, or even a mention of Nova? Dunno if it'll be Richard Rider or not - Marvel have a habit of putting their up-to-date characters in the forefront, so it'll probably be Sam Alexander. Also - they might wanna avoid Freudian slips (Dick Rider anyone? ) .
