The problem I've had with the transformations  is, everyone does so at once, a good 2+ minutes wasted watching them all transform that could be used for further character development.

That also really annoyed me as well  Showing this full transformations of all of them just takes too much time.  Maybe a partial transformation of each, or a split screen of multiple transformations at most would work better?

Asset reuse is very much common for animes.
The split screen is best, imo.

Currently rewatching Chobits with English dub. The world that human and very human-like computers living together kinda reminds me the world described in Mega Man ZX though the MMZX world is in a total war driven by some old shit piles and its purpose is to end the energy crisis and other troubles in a rather brutal way and much less daily life were shown in MMZX world

If some REALLY advanced computers like Chobits, with considerable destructive power, became stable models and mass produced by government, then it surely has the possibility to burn out some kind of wars as cruel as maverick reploids wars and cyber elf wars. Thanks goddess the designers of Chobits never let that happen; The model never get a chance to be mass produced in such a good and peaceful world... But who knows if the seed of war burns out  anyway?

Wish granted, episode 3 of Crystal only had 2 of the girls transform onscreen, the others did so offscreen.

I'm really enjoying this new season so far.  While the enemies are following the pattern so far as a whole, I'm liking the are they friend or foe? aspect atm of Uraenus and Neptune.  I can't wait for Pluto's return.  The theme tunes for this season are now also growing on me.

Just finished the Macross II OVAs. They were OK, though not really as good as the 'proper' Macross installments, IMO.

I've been wanting to watch Dragon Ball Super, but too hard to get episodes. Might have to just wait until the English duh comes out. I'm just over all the spoilers people are posting these days, especially on Instagram.

Chobits was great, even if it had the common CLAMP tropes, there was one particular episode that gives me heavy feels.

DBSuper is great story-wise, animation-wise it could be perfect if 1/3rd of it was just drawn out sequences (I understand this is to keep pace with the manga, but damn, I hope the US version can edit roughly 2 episodes into one). on the bright side, DBSuper brings a fresh approach to the series constantly throwing off fan theorists with bold curve-balls making it very hard to predict.

Asset reuse is very much common for animes.
The split screen is best, imo.
In a world where super sentai can shorten their henshin, Sailor moon sticks with it's guns (even though it's basically a FMA brotherhood approach)

I never really got into Chobits.  Cardcaptor Sakura was my CLAMP series of choice.  Cardcaptor Sakura is responsible for oh so very much.....  It was browsing a website called Bane Huntress (back before she knew the full details abotu Castlevania) which included piccies of white haired bishies, including Yue, on which I saw a saw pictures of the SotN manga introduction....  http://banehuntress.co.uk/Kojima_Ayami/Kojima_Ayami.html  The rest is history.

Cardcaptor Sakura is so much fun to watch. I think I have 2 Sakura dolls but I don't know where I placed them.
I am not that fond of Chobits but I liked it's predecessor in the same world, Angelic Layer.
My fave CLAMP series (manga based) are X and RG Veda. Bishies galore~

X and RG Veda. Bishies galore~
I remember seeing the motion picture of X and the original RG Veda English dub in the 90's. RG seemed ok but those voices were like putting gasoline into a whisky sour.  :P

I've decided I'm going to start watching anime again this weekend.

The anime version of X is better than the movie. RG Veda's anime is different from the manga. (and I'm talking about the original Japanese version)
The best version of both is still the manga.

Should I start watching Initial D or not....?

I'm sure RG Veda was the original, this was old af even for a VHS tape.

Initial D season 1 and 2 are solid. I'm not even that into cars but I thought it was great.
There is s03 which is an anime movie I believe, but I heard the newer I/D s04 looked cool but was garbage.

My only beef with X anime is the second half, nothing with the story but seeing Fuuma declare himself as the other Kamui almost every other episode (twice at times) got old.
But I loved all the twists and turns the anime story gave, humanizing all of the characters and really saddening when you see some go...

ummm, maybe I'll check other CLAMP series in the future after I find back if any interest in anime stuff...hope I can get pass the generation gap

The last series I watched during teen was Elemental Gelade and why I chose to follow at that time is because the opening song. Now I can't remember if any particular scene in the series but the general art style and character design of main heroine (the girl with long blue hair) looks ok for me. Remembered frequently used that particular picture of the girl as wallpapers of some old PCs. The main hero guy reminds me a young-whoever-Belmont through the costume and the rope in his hand, and I thought it should be like that but nope he rarely uses the rope during fights but the girl morphs as his weapon. Then I disappointed a lot but eventually found the series itself ok and a little more interesting than I thought

After about 7 or 8 years banish of soul, after lost all the battle souls for Mega Man and Castlevania It's time for me to find some long lost gem in anime world that previously dismissed by accident
