The Halo series, everyone was saying it was the panacea of FPS, It felt like any average FPS game out there.

That and the Smash Bros. Series, It has the worst controls for moving your character, I mean, you HAVE to use the analog stick!? and then sometimes the character runs instead of walk for no reason? Why didn't they use the traditional D-Pad method of hold to walk and double tap to run? Stupid I know, since it's pretty much me and not the game's fault. At least I have sweet revenge on everyone beating the snot out of them in Street Fighter.

Whew! that felt good. I guess I needed to get that out of my system.

GTA San Andreas. It was just too popular when it came out. I never play games "because everyone is playing it". That is why I like underdog games a lot more.
Then, it's just my own way of life. I never do stuff "because everyone does it". I can't stand fashions and things like that. I do things my own way.

Hey DoctaMario, will you ever get serious?

Chances are pretty slim. If you're holding your breath, you may wanna stop.  ;)

You won't play a game because it's good?!?
People say the same things about SotN, I can only assume you've played that. Give it a shot. You won't regret it
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Harvest Moon Cute. I just saw an ad for it on IGN. It's apparently a "cute" version of Harvest Moon. ...what? It's not like HM was a series known for its gritty realism. It's always been cute!

I never played San Andreas either. Its not because of the hype, but its because of the disappointment of the previous, which were fun but becomes utterly boring after a while.

I hear Andreas improves on it, but I don't think it does ... not much anyway.

Honestly, I don't get a big rubbery one over RPGs. I've watched my bro play it and it doesn't seem like the second coming of...whatever. The fact that everyone on GameFAQS pops a boner whenever someone mentions it like "OMGZORZ!!1!! Tehre  IZ NUttin az gud az FFVII ROXXORZ!!111" just turns me off to it even more. Like someone else said, it's a stupid reason, but that's what the topic is.

Thirded.

Fourthed!

Though I didn't hate it, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs is the closest that comes to mind. I don't like 50's(ish)-era stuff, and I don't care much for dinosaurs. But it's highly regarded, so I had to play. Kind of ho-hum for me.

Also, I used to hate hearing about Tom Clancy games, since his name is always on them. But that changed when a co-worker gave me Rainbow Six Vegas to borrow. Incredible game. I also bought Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon for $6 each before that, just to see what the fuss is all about, but I haven't gotten around to playing either one yet.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

I refuse to play final fantasy (any)
shure it looks great, but
there's something about turn base rpg's that makes me get bored after like 5 minutes. (though pokemon stadium had me playing for like 1 week, then never again) :P
