Some of my Chinese friends gave this project very high rank when they saw the new update, but it seems it's very hard to further expand and let more people know this project

You know, I forgot to ask before but will this game have a button config menu for both controller and keyboard? I felt that a lack of this was a weak point for LC1 (one of the reasons I was not able to finish the game. And Joytokey or any other such program never worked for me). Having a button config menu I feel will also help this game reach a more wider demograph then without one.

Yes, I would definitely love a button config. LC1 was definitely a quality fan-game, but I found a lot wrong with it, and the default control options were definitely near the top of the list.

I hate that, in the first game, the default button config for an Xbox 360 controller forced you to move with the analog stick with no option to change to the D-Pad, and all of the keyboard setups were downright weird button placements. I'm aware programs like Joytokey exist, as well, but I myself consider it a huge hassle. Like X implied, it'd be far more accessible (and as a result hit a wider audience) with the ability to customize the controls.

I'm trying to make a system to directly map the joypad's buttons. The game needs 6 buttons.
I know there were issues with Lecarde 1's controls. Most of the players forced the keyboard play and mapped their
buttons with JOY2KEY wich is a free and excellent keyboard emulator for joypads.

I thought CV fangames couldn't get any better than Serio's Castlevania Fighter and the first LC. Boy does it look like I'm gonna be wrong. I'm very impressed at how much effort's going into this, even signing on established voice talents (especially Robert Beglrade; 2017's gonna be the year he sticks his head out of his coffin and says, "Hey, fans. I'm still alive."). Can't wait for next year!

Oh yeah, is there some kind of story-related reason as to why Efrain's not using his whip?

It is pretty nice artwork, I have been using that Alucard pic myself for my avatar over on the Bloodstained forums for the past 6 months or so.
