Steam page

Its a cool metroidvania that came out on Steam these days, Im sharing this because it seems to be good and some scenarios seems to be a homage to CV3 forest or even SCV4 spinning room:

I guess stealing Castlevania assets is the cool new thing for indie devs to be doing. Those are definitely CV3's backgrounds. Looks like the character is edited from Julius too.

Shameful. Looks like shit anyway all thrown together like that with no consistency. Probably plays like garbage too.

The idea is interesting, but if they just stole CV3 sprites I can't support them. ~_~

I hope other people outside of this forum also notice that these guys are stealing assets.

I'm amazed Greenlight didn't notice or care that he's using copyrighted resources. How this even got put up on Steam is beyond me.

Lazy motherfucker. >:(

You know if they're lifting art from cv then they must be from other games too. But hey, it looks like maybe they made that life bar from scratch.

Shameful.

Reusing assets is acceptable only if the game is free, or a homebrew, and definitely not if it's ON STEAM.
It's supposed to be a professional game if it makes it to those platforms.  Can't be going around ripping off stuff.
Those orange blocks are totally from CVIII's first stage.  The forest wood could arguably count as well (though it may have been edited).

I say this as someone who often uses assets from other games (though my sprites are usually my own).
