I never collected cards of any kind except for the traditional 52 playing cards. But some of those images look familiar. I'm quite sure one of our gaming stores had some of those.

Unless they had new decks or the Carddass vending machines, they would’ve been used (which some video game stores use to dabble in, particularly back in the mid 90’s.
These were only stocked in a vending machine at one particular Chinese Newsagent where I grew up. 

The cool thing about is they’re rare, the art style although SD is super detailed, they pair nicely with the Street Fighter T.N.C (The New Challengers) statues from Bigboystoys HK and now that they’re becoming more and more rare, their value is increasing.

The late 90's is when I saw them abound but that store I mentioned has long since closed up shop.
