Title: I made a touhou version of Weirld Al's Hardware Store
Post by: CastleToastM on April 09, 2012, 06:43:20 PM
Walfas - Rinnosuke's Hardware Store (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzcGnBKXp-A#ws)

My first After Effects animation. Never even heard of the program before starting classes this semester.

So to practice After Effects in my free time, I made a Touhou animation. Yep, not sure what else to say about that.

I mostly use AfterFX for video editing well for adding things in to video anyhow. Premier and FX work together when editing video. For animation I still prefer flash though. Interesting to see this used to animate something.

Strangely enough, I like After Effects over Flash when animating. Then again, I don't really draw much of the images myself.

That's a cute little Touhou video you've done Castle Pokemontroid. Any plans to do more? I think you could pull of another of Weird Als tunes with Touhou animations, like say...Dare to be Stupid?

That makes some sense but I like onion skinning in flash and the ability to make objects with independent timelines of their own etc it just allows tighter control and additional options that are more specific to animating.
