That comic was pretty cool. Best thing about it is the graphics. ^.^

Sure, I don't mind. Just drop a little line of credit is all.

Love those 8-Bit Simon sprites.

But by the way, has anyone ripped the sprites and tiles from the second Cellphone version of Castlevania? I'd love to use those sprites for something.

Well, they're not 8-bit style, technically. It's before I even knew what the hell the whole concept was. There's more than three colors, and that's without using layering. I prefer to think of them as retro styled, rather than NES styled (you know, retro 7-color limit?)

EDIT: Or did you mean my Metroidvania Simon ones? If so, then thank you. ^.^

Retro it is then. But still, has anyone ever considered ripping the second cellphone version of CV? Cause I like those sprites better than the third version that was ripped.

I could do it if I had the game file. Any links for a download? I'll gladly rip them.
I mean, I noticed the Cell Phone Version 3 had sprites missing on the rips online, so I decided to rip it myself and bam, got all the sprites. ^.^

Sadly no, I don't know where to look for it, or what to call it. Perhaps you can google it?

The second cellphone version of CV was the one that was basically just enhanced CV1 sprites, right, not the one with higher resolution graphics? If so, I have the game file, so PM me.

That's the one alright. Although Claimh Solais should be the one doing the PMing, since he'll be doing the ripping. But it's swell that you have it Inccubus. ;D

Here is an edit of Serio's Richter sprites that I made. It is in 16 colors.

EDIT: added a second pic with brighter hair and different palettes.

So, comments?

I like the first one better. His sprite was meant to be in a darker SotN-like atmosphere, so the darker color scheme works better.

Well, I like the first one too. I'm planning to put these edit to my PoR hack.

The second one was made to look like his official sprite when Maria shows it to Alucard.

@Pemburu Vampir
Oh, I see it now. Ha.

@MMMT101
I haven't got a chance to extract the JAR file. I'm going to be inactive all weekend, but I'll try it when I come back on Monday.
