6 colors, 6 hours (on and off)
i was originally going with a dos CGA palette but i didn't want the grass to blend with the sky or the tree or the bricks so i added 2 colors

Nice dude, good use of color theory and stuff. I'm not so sure about that sky gradient or those block colors, but this is awesome for something done in an hour.

Huh, would be nice if someone would hack those into the game when you're done.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

@Bloo I like all the frames look great how you converted it from official art, but to be honest I would like more if they were darker like similar ones from SOTN, for example what if the part of the hair at the nape of the neck were darker I mean considering light comes from front and decrease to the tip of the hair.

Well, it's been a while since I published here, besides I was wanting to start a fan project where you could play with all the playable characters of the saga, like the cv fighter but exploration, but in the end there was no one to program anyway nothing was done, here I leave this then I will publish more sprites that I do not use, well if i can publish some of cv fighter here? Although while this is what I found in the old pc, if it works for someone, they are free to use it

por cierto, ripped by Serio, modified by Kuro (comission) no need credit if you want xD

I haven't posted here in a very long time, but thought it would be nice to share some small Castlevania related stuff I have done somewhat recently.

This one was done for Pixel Dailies' #PixelRemaster challenge which consisted on redrawing a screenshot from the original Castlevania. I decided to go for a somewhat realistic look, using dark colors to get a serious and scary mood, but at the same time I followed all FAMICOM/NES technical limitations.

After doing that one I took the chance to do a small update to another Castlevania screenshot I redrew, in a similar artstyle, for Pixelation's Comercial Critique Challenge some time ago, since I thought it would be great if both of them looked like they came from the same game.

Hello everyone, back when Jorge D Fuentes was helping me create an account on this forums, I mentioned to him that I was working on some sprites based on the Castlevania DS artstyle. The thing is, I'm not actually a spriter, I don't know yet how to create a sprite from the ground up and all sprites in my pic are Frankesteins of various different sprites from different games that I took from Spriters Resource.
The characters on my pic are: Lady Gunner, Eric Lecarde, John Morris, Getsu Fuuma, Desmond Belmont, Felicia, Pascha Totoyan (From the Comics), Nathan Graves, Hugh Baldwin, Morris Baldwin, Deimos (From the comics, he's just a Hammer recolur.), Soleiyu Belmont and Sid Belmont (From the Manga).
All of them are mixes of various different sprites, and I post them in here looking for feedback because I really want to improve my spriting skills and be able to create my very own sprites.
