More like Legend crossed with Bram Stoker's Dracula. But at least you got the director right.

For a movie called Brotherhood of the Wolf, which is presented like a medieval werewolf movie, and is based on real historic accounts of French peasants being mauled to death by rabid wolves or an aggressive wolf-mutt hybrid, the creature in that movie is surprisingly not a wolf.

It would be like watching The Lost Boys, except they all turn out to be aliens at the end.

Does it have Emma Watson's painfully wooden acting?

Beauty and the Beast: No.

Brotherhood of the Wolf: It has Vincent Cassel capturing a "mysterious beast" in Africa that's heavily implied to be a lion, breeding the lion presumably with some other species of big cat to intentionally create a violent feral crossbreed, and then welding the adult crossbreed into crude medieval armor with spikes sticking out of its back so it turns into Harry from My HiME (putting it in constant pain so it's even more violent and feral) before unleashing it on the French countryside, and he does this all as a carefully calculated false flag operation where he poses as a hunter sent by the King of France to kill the beast, but he's actually conspiring with a cult and using the creature as a means of divine retribution against the crown (the part in the trailer where you see Harry creeping through the battlements interposed with a shot of a wolf's eye floating in front of a full moon lies to you soooo fucking hard) and he positions himself to be the hero who slays the beast so he can overthrow the monarchy in an alternate history leading up to the first French revolution.

It also has Mark Dacascos playing a Native American practitioner of Kung Sioux, as well as gypsies engaging in a pre-savate form of savate.

I find it amusing when adventure films have some witty title that has the major critter's type in the film in them.
Like Brotherhood of the Wolf or Season of the Witch or Dawn of the Dead.
