Dynasty Warriors Empires series

I have newfound appreciation for this series.   I'm obsessed with DW9 (over 200 hours, still playing), and excited what an Empires edition could be like, which would be a larger leap upward than the jump from DW6E to DW7E.

I saw DW6E on PS3 PSN Store and gonna try to save up for it.  I havent checked if DW5E is also there, but I have DW7E on PS3, and DW8E on PS4.
DW7E was a massive leap from DW6E to DW7E with a more immersive enviornments strategy phase takes place in. Its still menu driven mostly but it no longer looks like a visual novel.  In some ways DW7E is better than DW8E, but DW8E does have some great things that make it stand out too, but DW7E has town free roamingand cool strategem effects, so its a tie.  DW6E looks simplistic but the interface looks kinda cool and vibrant for its time, and has the best strategem cards art and large display of the cards.
