This was hard as hell to make it, take a lot of time:

It was fun XD

Did you use those LOS2 sprites from the character book and painted over them?

Or did you do those by just eying reference and painting?

Just curious to your technique because it would seem you have improved in a short time...

i use the 2 methods, 1st was refrence (like 30% of all the sprites), later i see that it will be better to painted over them, thanks to my friend i work with a gif XD
By the way, its good to see that my sprtie works are better.

Jop, you read my mind because right now, like 5 minutes ago I was thinking about Mathias sprited in 2D. I can ask for a sword slash animation and maybe some other sword attack that you can think of? xD

Good job, Jop. You keep spriting like that and you'll be an expert in it in now time!

You should make a goal of making a full sheet. That way you can start having a influx of completed work that can be judged and improved upon.

Keep entering those sprite contests too! You are definitely improving leaps and bounds!

Thanks and about the full sheet i made the full sheet for the characters (at least the sprites i need), i dont show because i think it will be anoying but you can see the sheets here:

http://drameloch.deviantart.com/gallery/47653722/Castlevania-Characters
The new update i made for Simon Belmont from MoF i dont have there because i dont finish the sheet.

Im not happy about the green cape but it was a test for the moves of the arms, hand and see a little how it works with wings so yeah its fine XD

Edit, new works:

Oh i forgott, in case i start a fight, that Soma was made by my friend, i use it to see the height of Dracula

Work on animating nothing but legs.
Work on weight and heaviness and spriting your legs in dynamic poses.
Study alot of Spiderman.

My only nitpicks on the Alucard are that his side-facing boot and foot look really skinny (even for him) and that the crotch of his pants is way too low.

But it's great anyhow. Now do TRUEFORM Dracula. :P
