So it's pretty unfortune that issues and requests keep coming out but the only thing I had is patient.

Really cool, I listened to the Lords of Shadow OST many times during development, cool to see Araujo contribute a piece for CotW!

The title theme for Chronicles of the Wolf was created by guest composer Óscar Araujo.

Óscar Araujo is known for his role as sole composer of the Castlevania Lords of Shadow trilogy!

Have a listen! 🐺

I'll be sure to let Mig know that you guys think Metroidvania games aren't challenging enough. 😉

I remember breezing through Dawn of Sorrow & Portrait of Ruin (aside from a few sections that gave me problems), but Order of Ecclesia kind of kicked my ass the first few times. They actually ramped up the difficulty which I wasn’t expecting. There was a certain attention to detail that wasn’t present in the previous DS entries.

Mirror of Fate, however, that game didn’t offer a challenge to me at all. And it has 0% replay value. No extra modes, no secrets, no boss rush, nothing. I never understood why.

I agree with you on that. It feels like the extra modes are the preferable way to play a lot of the Metroidvania games, or at least the modes that provide additional challenge.

I just miss the difficult, frustrating-but-hard Castlevanias, I guess. I don't feel 100% fulfilled if a game doesn't make me cuss at the screen a few times, lmao

I’m having an absolute blast with this game despite the bosses kicking my ass.  (After the Creature, I am absolutely dreading Death.)  The card system, upgrades, stage progression, music, combination of both boss and stages from the original and X86000 versions Castlevania 1—this is seriously one of my favorite versions of the first game hands down.

Made me temporarily revoke my ‘break from metroidvanias’ stance. XD

A tool for bolstering one's efforts; this is AI done right.

Lazy about it: prompt and done.

Intentional about it: prompt and build.

This tech came out relatively a few hours ago at the moment of this reply, so it'll be a bit until the concerned and the critics realize all the opportunity they're leaving on the table.

As for Shin Dracula X, hell yeah, it fired the imagination of many a CV fan back when.  Those Gradius-style prominences as Richter lept from one bit of a broken bridge to another, what the fuck was going on here?!
